The Scholarships Fund (referred as the Fund) has been set up in 1997 under the auspices of the University of Liverpool Graduate Association (Hong Kong) (referred as the Graduate Association) with the generous donation from a benefactor. The objective of the Fund is to provide scholarships for students originated from Hong Kong to pursue further studies at the University of Liverpool (referred as The University).

The Fund is administered by the Trustees of the University of Liverpool Scholarship Trust via a Fund Management Committee and an Award Committee. Based on the recommendation by the Award Committee, the Trustees will have the final decision on the number of awards and the level of individual funding in any year. The Trustees may decide not to award any scholarship without giving any reason.
